Blue Bonus

A reader asked: Does level of the spirit you absorb affect Blue Bonus?

My answer: I believe it doesn't.

From the formula I got from the Japanese, there are 2 important rules.
  • The rarer the spirit the higher Blue Bonus gain.
  • The stronger the base spirit the higher Blue Bonus gain.

That means a Super Rare will need less duplicates to max its Blue Bonus (100 ATK/SPD is max). While Rare or lower will simply need more duplicates.

Maxing Blue Bonus on a Super Rare can be tricky though, as you need to find a sweet spot to have a good number. If the base spirit is too weak, you get less Blue Bonus. But if the base spirit is too strong, it'll reach LV65 before you want.

Renting and Affinity

I've discovered today that the number of the spirits for rent can decrease even in Great Blessing day. (Previously thought that it happens only in Average Luck and Bad Luck.) I'm being offered 9 spirits from friends and 3 from strangers in a Great Blessing day.

New Conclusion
The strangers you see are:
  • The players who have enough affinity (calculated by Destiny Engine using your birthday and their birthdays)
  • The players who have similar number of area cleared
  • The players who are currently playing the game
The players who have all 3 points will offer a spirits for rent. These players are the same as "friend candidates" under Friends option.

Raid Boss Event "Darkness Approaches"

New raid boss event is now live.

For those who are new to this genre, you'll see raid boss event back to back like this. (Same as in Million Arthur) So I suggest you start organizing a "raid team" to fight raid bosses for a long run.

Anyway, Darkness Approaches has addressed the issue in Baptism of Light, that is rewards for Conquest Number.

In Baptism of Light, the rewards for Conquest Number wasn't impressive. (Mainly Spirit Points, not too difficult to obtain by other means.) So I focused on Conquest Level rewards. That means I helped friends less than I should.

But the Conquest Number rewards in Darkness Approaches will encourage everyone to help. There's no reason not to help now.

Also, I have to remind some of you that Jokers are precious.

As for me, I don't trade. But if I do, I only trade a Joker for a Joker or a Super Rare I really need. I don't trade a Joker for multiple Rares (beware scammers!).

Remember that your party's strength is equal to the spirits' levels. Once spirits in your party are all at max possible level, then, at that point, you start looking for some improvement. There's no point of finding a new cool spirit that has limit potential, if you really want to progress.

How do I make 30,000 SS each day? (A reader asked)

I do nothing special. You should have no problem getting SS in Great Blessing or Blessing. But in Average Luck or Bad Luck, I get most of SS from clearing areas or killing bosses (non-raid). Also I don't spend SS more than 30,000 a day. Like today, I still have around 14,000 SS left in my pocket.

Jokers are precious

  • You should NOT trade a Joker for anything less than a Super Rare.
  • Jokers are best used for Limit Breaking a Super Rare spirit that can be obtained only by Destiny Orbs or real money.
  • At least, you should use Jokers for Limit Breaking a Super Rare.

I write this because I saw some players trying to offer a bad deal for a Joker.

(Some Jokers are currently easier to find due to the ongoing raid boss event, but that doesn't mean they have less value.)

Daily Fortune and spirits for rent

THIS THEORY IS PROVEN WRONG. READ THIS.

I first suspected that Daily Fortune can affect the number of spirits for rent, but I'm not 100% sure about it. So I took time to observe more.

I found that I always got 15 spirits in Great Blessing and Blessing, while I sometimes got less in Average Luck and Bad Luck.

The number of spirits for rent changed the moment the Daily Fortune changed.

In Average Luck, the number can drop to 11. (Friends 9/Strangers 2)
In Bad Luck day, the number can drop to 10. (Friends 9/Strangers 1)

Someone asked me "What's Mass Summon?" It's nothing. It's just a note and I like to spend big once a day instead of several times a day. It also helps calculating value.

Like this.

900 times of normal summons
24 Rares
4 Super Rares

Rare ratio is currently 1:37.5
Super Rare ratio is currently 1:225

1 Super Rare is worth 6 Rares
