Destiny Orb is used for paid summon: Advanced Summon and Limited Summon (called Rare Summon in English version). Some spirits are exclusive to paid summon. DO can be obtained by spending real money or from Login Bonus. If you have PlayStation Plus membership, you'll recieve 35 DOs for free every month.
Summon Stone is used for normal Summon. SS can be obtained by killing enemies, or as bonus.
Spirit Point is used for (1) renting a spirit from other players, and (2) spirit synthesis (level up). SP can be obtained by killing enemies, selling spirits, or as bonus. If you run out of SP, you'll progress very slowly.
Daily Fortune
Your fortune will change daily at 00:00 UCT or 9:00 JST. Your fortune does NOT affect the chance of summoning a Rare spirit.
- It's easier to obtain a large quantity of Summon Stone from killing enemies.
- You get no Spirit Point from killing enemies.
- Light spirits have elemental advantage over Dark spirits.
- You obtain Summon Stones more than Spirit Points.
- Light and Dark spirits have no elemental advantage against each other.
- You obtain Spirit Points more than Summon Stones.
- Light and Dark spirits have no elemental advantage against each other.
Bad Luck
- It's easier to obtain a large quantity of Spirit Point from killing enemies.
- You get no Summon Stone from killing enemies.
- Dark spirits have elemental advantage over Light spirits.
Lucky Element
- Your lucky element will change daily, just like your fortune.
- Lucky element will give boost to your spirits of that element.
- Lucky element increases the chance of summoning (including Hunting) spirits of certain element. (It does not affect rarity.)
Progression in a Nutshell
- Kill enemies and collect Summon Stone to buy a new spirit.
- Kill Area Boss to clear the area.
- Kill Zone Boss to unlock a new zone.
- By clearing a certain number of areas, one of these things will be upgraded: (1) Your party cost limit. (2) Your friendlist limit. (3) Your spirit inventory limit.
- Upgrade your spirits by synthesis.
Organizing a party
- You cannot add any more spirit to the party if it exceeds the party cost limit. (If the limit is 5.0, you can only add one 5.0 spirit to the party. Or two 2.5 spirits.)
- You can add up to five spirits to your party, but up to three will present in a combat at a time.
- The spirit on your far left is the party leader.
- The party leader is guaranteed to start a combat. The rest will be chosen randomly.
- In case you choose to rent a spirit, the party leader and the rented spirit are guaranteed to start a combat.
- Only the party leader and the rented spirit can activate their support skills.
- In case the support skills conflict (elemental manipulators), rented spirit has the highest priority, then your party leader, then your enemies.
- When a spirit dies during a combat, it is immediately replaced with the backup.
- Rarity does not affect damage.
Spirit Renting
- Renting a spirit from other players is the key to success.
- Renting requires Spirit Points. Choose wisely. Don't overspend.
- Renting from friends is cheaper than from strangers.
- Try to befriend as many players as possible, so you have more choices.
- Level and rarity affect a spirit's cost.
- The spirit that is being set as party leader will be rented.
- If someone rents your spirit, you'll earn Summon Stone bonus next day.
- Before you go offline, set a good spirit as party leader so you attract more players for more bonus.
Resting
- Your spirits can't be healed during combat.
- Your damaged spirits will slowly heal themselves when not in combat.
- 5 HP per 1 minute
- If your spirit dies in a combat, it will resurrect after 15 minutes after, then start healing itself.
- Kill the enemies as fast as possible so you don't have to rest longer.
- Healing continues even after closing the game.
Synthesis
- Spirit Point is required in the process.
- The purpose is to level up a spirit.
- It's not actually a merging, it's an absorbing.
- The base spirit will not change its form after a synthesis.
- Absorbing a spirit of the same element will yield greater EXP.
- Absorbing a Prince/Queen/King of element will yield greater EXP.
- Absorbing a spirit of the same name will add parameter bonus (blue number in bracket). I called it Blue Bonus. This bonus has cap. Rarity determines this cap.
- Read more about "Blue Bonus" here.
- Absorbing Uncommon or rarer spirits is highly recommended as a way to spend Spirit Points effectively.
- Synthesis fee is a flat rate, you will not get discount for absorbing 5 spirits a time.
- After reaching max level, by absorbing a spirit of the same name or "Joker" of the same element, the max level can be increased. (Doing a Limit Break)
- Common spirit can reach LV20
- Uncommon spirit can reach LV35
- Rare spirit can reach LV50
- Super Rare spirit can reach LV65
- Doing a Limit Break will just increase the max level.
- Doing a Limit Break will not yield any EXP.
- Doing a Limit Break will not combine the level of two spirits.
Spirit Hunting
- Hunting is a way to get a spirit for free.
- Hunting requires tracking of your real life location.
- Some spirits belong to certain locations.
- You don't need to move to a new location to get a spirit, just traveling enough.
- Locations affect what spirit you get, but NOT affect the chance of getting a rare one. (All locations have the same probability.)
- Only direction affects the chance of getting rare spirits. (Facing preferred direction)
- Cheating will result banning.
Trading
- You can trade a spirit with your friends, under Communication.
- You choose what you offer, but you cannot control what your friend will offer.
- Spirits' level will be reset to 1 after a trade.
- The trade takes time. Wait or pay real money for instant delivery.
- A spirit from paid summon must be traded with a spirit from paid summon. (Paid summon = Advanced Summon and Limited/Rare Summon)
Fighting a boss
- You can see a boss' element, but not its minions' element.
- If its minion(s) has elemental advantage over your party, flee the fight. (Tap one of your spirits, then tap the element icons, then tap Flee.)
- Consider killing the minions first only when you can kill them quickly. (Most likely not the best option, as it will hurt damage-per-second to the boss.)
- If your party has elemental advantage over its minions, consider focus fire on the boss. (Ignore its minions.)
Fighting a raid boss
- Raid bosses appear during events.
- Fighting a raid boss requires a Raid Point.
- Raid Points are restored as time passes. (One per 30 minutes)
- You can also spend real money to buy Raid Points.
- High level raid bosses (up to LV99) require fighting multiple times.
- The HP of a raid boss will remain as it is. It will not heal itself. It will summon new minions, however.
- You have nothing to lose in a raid boss fight, except Raid Points. Try to deal as much damage as possible.
- The HP of your spirits will be fully restored at the beginning of the fight.
- The HP of your spirits will remain the same as it is before the fight.
- You can send dead spirits in to fight.
- Your spirits killed in the fight will still be alive.
- If your party is defeated, your friends will be automatically sent an invitation to fight the raid boss. (No one can help you if you don't fight first.)
- Naturally, having more active friends is better.
- Try not to retry a raid boss. Save your Raid Points for the next raid boss.
- Try not to rent a spirit. Save Spirit Points for the fight you really want to win.
- Helping friends can be profitable if you don't rent a spirit.
- Rewards for defeating each time: Summon Stones and Spirit Points
- Dealing the most damage to a raid boss will give MVP bonus (Spirit Points).
- Rewards for Conquest Number: Summon Stones or Spirit Points
- Rewards for Conquest Level: Spirits that help synthesis or raid boss spirits.
- Here is example of rewards.
- When you contribute to your friend's raid boss battle, it counts your number of conquests, but does not influence your conquest level.
- You'll get a chance to encounter raid bosses when you complete missions on the world map. However, completing the mission does not guarantee the encounter, Raid bosses are more likely to appear farther from your base. Furthermore, they won't appear in area boss or zone boss missions.
- Raid bosses of all 3 regions appear randomly, but you will have more chance to encounter the boss of your region.
- A raid boss will disappear 2 hours after a player found it, if not not killed.
- Defeating a raid boss that you discover will increase its level next time. (You'll only find a stronger one. And raid bosses of each region don't share level.) This is how you raise your Conquest Level.
Daily Login Bonus
- New bonus every day at 00:00 UCT or 9:00 JST.
- Login X consecutive days will give additional reward.
Destiny Summon
- Upon logging in, after getting a daily login bonus, you'll be prompted with a list of players for Destiny Summon.
- After choosing a player, a spirit will be summoned using undisclosed formula.
- Both you and the chosen player will get the same spirit for free.
Destiny Strike
Sometimes you will get a support attack from one of your in-game friends. More friends = more chances of getting Destiny Strike.
- If the friend has Average Luck or Bad Luck, he/she will strike just once.
- If the friend has Blessing, he/she will strike twice.
- If the friend has Great Blessing, he/she will strike thrice.
Weekly Maintenance
Weekly maintenance is every Thursday 01:00 - 04:00 UTC.

Some more things about synthesis :
* Lucky element grants bonus XP during synthesis.
* Granted XP depends on the absorbed spirit's cost (a common spirit with a cost of 1.5 will grant more xp than a common spirit of the same element with a cost of 1.0).
In regards to hunting, the distance is specific to how far you travel from your last hunt. If you do not hunt after traveling, and then return to your last hunting location, it will show no travel.
The distance required to hunt more spirits at once grows exponentially.
A minimum 1km of distance traveled is required to hunt 1 spirit.
Thus far I've had the game track me as far as 25km and that still only grants 2 spirits.
